In the past, I had contractors who didn't do the plumbing immediately and it just led to catastrophe. After they hung, finished and painted all of the sheet rock in the house, they switched on the water just to discover that there were pipes burst in the walls. Today, I CONSTANTLY make my contractor check out the plumbing initially, including the sewer lines.

While the plumbing is working, I'll have a HVAC crew installing a brand-new heating system which consists of a brand-new gas heater and central air conditioning. I have not constantly changed functional A/C systems and even today, if the present system is relatively brand-new, I will prevent it. Mainly, however, I always install completely new systems.
